From Loops to Helixes: a practitioner's guide to evaluation, monitoring, and observability for production GenAI — slide 1 of 15

This is the cover of my practitioner's guide to shipping production GenAI: evaluation, monitoring, and observability.

The framing: a prototype is a loop. You run it once, it works in the demo. Production is a helix, the same loop, but it has to evolve, measured and improved on every turn.

That is what makes AI application development quality-driven instead of demo-driven. You decide what "good" means before you ship (evaluation), you get alerted when something drifts (monitoring), and you can trace why the system did what it did (observability).
